PURPOSE: An oil treating absorbing fabric using coco peat and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to facilitate treating processes without incineration by being packaged with biodegradable non-woven fabric. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing oil treating absorbing fabric includes the following: coco peat is pulverized such that the particle sizes of the pulverized coco peat become 1 to 5mm; the pulverized coco peats are dried to obtain an oil treating absorbent; and the oil treating absorbent is packaged to obtain oil treating absorbing fabric. In the drying process, the pulverized coco peat is dried at a temperature between 200 and 250 degrees Celsius for 5 to 12 hours such that the moisture content of the dried coco peat is in a range between 1 and 2 weight%. In the packaging process, the oil treating absorbent is packaged with biodegradable non-woven fabric. |
