PURPOSE: An automated machine, a method for installing a program for the same, and a system device for the same are provided to automatically update and install programs of higher version without a server program. CONSTITUTION: Automated machines(20) include a downloading program(22) and an installing program(24). The downloading program accesses an FTP server(10) and inspects packages to be downloaded and installed. Based on the inspection result, the downloading program downloads an installing package from the FTP server. The installing program inspects the installing package. Based on the inspection result, the installing program installs the installing package.
