The invention relates to a composition for oral administration to an animal for intestinal delivery of a pharmaceutically active agent, said composition comprising: a) at least one bioadhesive polymer; b) at least one oligosaccharide, having enhancing immunogenic response properties; c) at least one mediating compound having both hydrophilic and lipophilic properties; and d) a pharmaceutically active agent, wherein the composition provides for the oral delivery of a vaccine to animals, particularly aquatic animals. |
