PURPOSE: A system and a method for measuring a position of an object moving in a space are provided to simplify a system and to accurately measure a position of an object in a space. CONSTITUTION: A system for measuring a position of an object moving in a space comprises a light source(100), a sensor unit(200), and a measuring unit(300). The sensor unit comprises a single light receiving sensor line. Sensors are arranged in the single light receiving sensor line in a line. The light source unit comprises a first light source and a second light source. The first light source irradiates line lasers. The second light source irradiates the line lasers by being spaced from the first light source. The first and second light sources irradiates the line lasers to the single light receiving sensor line by turns, thereby irradiating the line lasers to an object moving in a space by turns.
