A by-product prepared during saccharification is supplied as an energy source in fermentation. The saccharides are glucose, galactose, sucrose, or a mixture thereof. The sea algae include large algae such as red algae, brown algae, green algae, or a mixture thereof and microalgae such as chlorella or spirurina.
