LIGHTING DEVICE HAVING AIR PURIFYING FUNCTION

PURPOSE: A lighting apparatus having an air cleaning function is provided to improve air purification capacity by passing air through a photo catalyst substance. CONSTITUTION: Housing(11) has a center portion and a skirt portion(13). The skirt portion is connected with the center portion. The housing has an air path in the exterior of the skirt portion and the center portion. A lamp is combined with the center portion and projects light. A fan(27) is included inside the center portion and discharges air entered by the air path of the housing to outside through an opening in around the lamp. An air cleaning unit purifies air within the skirt portion. A photo catalyst substance layer is located at one side within the skirt portion. A UV light source irradiates the photo catalyst substance layer with ultraviolet light.
