PURPOSE: A micro-bubble generator increasing the underwater residence time of micro-bubbles is provided to improve the generation efficiency of the micro-bubbles by using a porous plate and a nozzle for crushing fluid. CONSTITUTION: A micro-bubble generator includes a housing(2), an inlet pipe(4), a upper guide pipe(5), an outlet pipe(7), a porous plate(8), a nozzle guide pipe(9), a nozzle(10) for generating micro-bubbles, and a cover(16). The upper guide pipe guides fluid to the upper side of the housing from the inlet pipe. The porous plate is separately installed on the inner bottom of the housing, and includes a nozzle installation hole(8a) and plural through-holes(8b). The nozzle guide pipe is installed on the upper side of the nozzle installation hole. The nozzle for generating the micro-bubbles includes a nozzle body, a screw holder, a vortex-forming screw, plural bubble-crushing disks, and a ring-shaped spacer.
