PURPOSE: A cross-flow fan and an air conditioner having the same is provided to reduce noise by increasing a flow rate passing through a blade and to reduce the intensity of turbulence by generating vortex. CONSTITUTION: A cross-flow fan comprises a plurality of blades(230) and support plate. A plurality of the blades is radially placed around a rotary shaft in a circumferential direction. The support plate supports the blades. The blades comprise a negative pressure surface, a pressure surface and a protrusion unit. The pressure surface is oppositely formed to the negative pressure surface and receives air pressure. The protrusion unit is protruded from the pressure surface. The protrusion unit is extended from one part of the pressure surface to the outer end part of the pressure surface.
