POWER CONTROL METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR TRACKING MAXIMUM POWER POINT IN A PHOTOVOLTAIC SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A power control method and apparatus for tracking maximum power point in a photovoltaic system are provided to increase the efficiency of a photovoltaic power generation system on the maximum operation point without self-excited vibration in maximum power tracking. CONSTITUTION: A booster converter(330) supplies power coming from a solar battery(310) to a load. A control unit(350) applies a constant on/off signal to a boost converter. A control unit finds the maximum power point. A control unit maintains the operation point of a photovoltaic power generation system on the maximum power point.
