PURPOSE: A light emitting diode bulb is provided to illuminate to a wide space by emitting light through the side. CONSTITUTION: A heat sink(20) releases heat generated in a light emitting diode module. The light emitting diode module comprises a substrate of flat shape and a light emitting diode package. The light emitting diode package is mounted on the substrate. A power module(40) is accepted with the heat sink. An insulating member insulates an internal between the power module and the heat sink. The power module supplies a power source to the light emitting diode module. A diffusion cover(60) cases the light emitting diode module. A base portion is attached to the side of the heat sink.
