PURPOSE: A circuit breaker and an assembling method thereof are provided to rapidly respond for abnormal current conditions by changing the direction of a current. CONSTITUTION: A circuit breaker comprises a base, a cover connected with the base, and one or more trap mechanisms. The trap mechanism comprises a conductive element(218) such as a line strap, and a contact arm(214). The conductive element is connected with a circuit. The contact arm comprises a first portion(242), a second portion(244), and a third portion(248). The contact arm is connected with a deflection element. The deflection element rotates the contact arm with a shaft as the center between a first position and a second position. The deflection element adds deflecting force to the contact arm.
