The two-stroke engine has a piston control, where an inlet channel (8) of the cylinder is placed higher than an outlet channel (7) and in the center between upper and lower dead center of a piston (5) in the cylinder sleeve against the outlet. A passage window is provided in the piston on a side of the piston that is opposite to the gas outlet.
