<p>Provided in the present invention are a fast ranging opportunity allocation method, a system and a Base Station (BS) thereof. The allocation method includes that a target BS completes delay pre-estimation of an R6 port in a handover preparation phase, and pre-allocates multiple fast ranging opportunities with a first time interval as an allocation interval according to the pre-estimated delay; and allocates multiple fast ranging opportunities with a second time interval as the allocation interval in an action phase, wherein the first time interval is longer than the second time interval. In the fast ranging opportunity allocation method and system, the target BS completes the delay pre-estimation of the R6 port in the handover preparation phase, and allocates limited Fast Ranging Information Elements (IEs) with different granularities in the handover preparation and action phases, and therefore without large overhead of the target BS, the limited Fast Ranging IEs can be allocated rationally to a Mobile Station (MS) to accomplish the Fast Ranging handover.</p> |
