<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface-protecting sheet which is well adhered even to a coated surface having a rough surface, does not leave a paste visually, and does not deteriorate the self-cleaning property of the coated plate surface. <P>SOLUTION: There is provided the surface-protecting sheet comprising a substrate layer and an adhesive layer, wherein the ten point average surface roughness Rz is 8.0 μm; the adhesive power of the adhesive layer to the coated steel plate is ≥0.05 N/20 mm; the main component contained in the adhesive constituting the adhesive layer is a polymer P produced by crosslinking the polymer A; the weight-average mol.wt.
