<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor capable of obtaining excellent image quality even in an image in which two oblique lines in different directions are in contact, and its image processing method. <P>SOLUTION: The image processor includes: an output pixel position determination unit 101 for determining an output pixel position; an m×n pixel extraction unit 102 for extracting m×n pixels around the output pixel position; N types of detection units 103-107 for detecting the presence/absence of N types of oblique lines for the m×n pixels; N types of generation units 108-112 for generating output pixel candidate values optimum for each of the N types of oblique lines; and a pixel mixing unit 114 for generating a final output pixel value by mixing the output pixel candidate values of the two types of oblique lines when there are two types of oblique lines among the N types of oblique lines. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
