<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water purification screen capable of substantially improving the degree of purification of water containing sediment and floating matters such as rainwater from a road side ditch compared to a conventional one, for use when the water flows in a water storage tank or the like. <P>SOLUTION: A water storage member has a vertical water inlet surface to which a water purification screen 70 is attached for removing foreign matters in the water. The water purification screen 70 comprises a face plate 71 which is attached to the water inlet surface, and a cylindrical body 72 formed of one or plurality of porous material vertically arranged on the face plate 71.
