<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tree crown measuring implement capable of easily measuring a tree crown by facilitating measurement of a distance from a trunk to the tip of a branch. <P>SOLUTION: The tree crown measuring implement 100 includes: a cylindrical body 200; a cross line 201 perpendicular to the axis of the cylindrical body 200 and disposed at one end of the cylindrical body 200 in such a way that the crossing point P is aligned with the axis; a weight 202 suspended from the cross line 201; a mirror 204 housed at the other end of the cylindrical body 200 in such a state as inclined at about 45 degrees to the axis of the cylindrical body 200; and an inspection hole 205 bored in the side periphery of the cylindrical body for viewing the scene on the one end side reflected by the mirror 204. A position vertically under a prescribed part of a target branch for measurement to be observed from the inspection hole 205 can be fixed by aligning the weight 202 with the crossing point of the cross line 201. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
