<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rice cooker which saves more energy by previously selecting a kind of warming control before warming control is started or by selecting a kind of warming control based on a state of a pot-shaped container before the warming control is started so that energy is not distributed to a heating unit more than required. <P>SOLUTION: The rice cooker includes: the pot-shaped container for putting a substance to be heated; the heating unit for heating, cooking, and warming the pot-shaped container; a temperature detector for detecting the temperature of the pot-shaped container; and a controller which performs a natural cooling control performed without distributing power to the heating unit, and performs high-temperature warming control for keeping the pot-shaped container at a higher temperature than when afterheat warming is finished by driving and controlling the heating unit. When the temperature detector detects the predetermined temperature during the afterheat warming after cooking of rice is finished, the controller selects one of the high temperature warming control, low temperature warming control and the natural cooling control based on a setting performed by an operation part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
