<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stereoscopic camera capable of simultaneously imaging two images having parallaxes in order to create a stereoscopic image. <P>SOLUTION: A stereoscopic camera comprises: two light incident parts 10, 12 for capturing images of a subject 0; a polarized light synthesizing part 2 for synthesizing the same polarized components of an incident image entered from the light incident part 10 and an incident image entered from the light incident part 12 as P-polarized component and S-polarized component and guiding these components to a camera optical system part 3; the camera optical system part 3 emitting a formed image so as to image a synthesized and incident image on an imaging sensor with a required magnification; a polarization separation part 4 for separating the formed image emitted from the camera optical system part 3 into two directions of imaging sensors (elements) 5, 6 by difference of polarization; and an image processing device 7 forming an image from digital image data obtained by A/D conversion after imaging (photo-electric conversion) of the separated images. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
