<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device and a television receiver in which a frame covering a periphery of a display screen may have a small width. <P>SOLUTION: A display device comprises a display part 1 that has a display screen 1a on a front side and is in a substantially rectangular parallelepiped shape having the display screen 1a as a front face; and a frame 2 covering a periphery of the display screen 1a. The display part 1 has a locking recess 18 on a surface opposing the frame 2, and the frame 2 has a locking projection 22 projecting backward from a surface opposing the display screen 1a to be inserted and locked into the locking recess 18. The frame 2 is deformed downward owing to its own weight with the locking projection 22 inserted into the locking recess 18, whereby combining the frame 2 with the display part 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
