PURPOSE: A composite intrusion detecting method and apparatus are provided to practically sense the occurrence of intrusion and the existence of objects by combining the sensing results of an electronic wave sensor and an image sensor. CONSTITUTION: A composite intrusion detecting apparatus(1) comprises a composite sensor unit(10), an individual intrusion determination unit(20), an environment detecting sensor unit(30), and a composite intrusion determination unit(40). The composite sensor unit includes an electronic wave sensor that transmits a wireless signal to an object and outputs a sensing signal based on a wireless response signal and an image sensor that acquires images of an object and outputs a corresponding signal. The individual intrusion determination unit comprises a first individual intrusion determination unit that determines the occurrence of intrusion based on the signal output from the image sensor and outputs a corresponding first determination result and a second individual intrusion determination unit that determines the occurrence of intrusion based on the signal output from the electric wave sensor and outputs a corresponding second determination result. The environment detecting sensor unit measures the surrounding environment of an object and creates environment information. The composite intrusion determination unit determines the occurrence of intrusion based on the first and second determination results and an environmental weighted value set according to the measured environment information. |
