<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric power steering device with a power transmission member, which can smoothly tilt a worm shaft to decrease the amount of backlash of an engagement part of the worm and the worm wheel. <P>SOLUTION: The power transmission member 51 is biased toward an output shaft 292 by biasing force of a compression coil spring 53, a convex spherical surface part 513 bounds to a concave conical surface formed at a hole bottom of a female spline 293, and an axial position of the power transmission member 51 is positioned. As a result, the center of the axial position of male spline 512 of power transmission member 51 is positioned in a position almost corresponding to the axial direction central position of ball bearing 27. Male spline 511 of the power transmission member 51 is positioned in the position in which the female spline 293 of the output shaft 292 and the total length of the axial direction engage at the same time. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
