<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus and an image data forming method capable of forming image data by correcting accurately a light amount of imaging data corresponding to a state of a subject in a shooting range. <P>SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus 1 of the present invention comprises an imaging element 4 and an image forming unit 5, and is capable of performing continuous shooting in a first imaging mode for imaging in a state of not irradiating a subject with light of irradiation means 6 and in a second imaging mode for imaging in a state of irradiating.
