<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the frequency of an output high frequency signal coincident with a predetermined frequency. <P>SOLUTION: A reception-side device 2 is remotely located from a retransmission-side device 4. The reception-side device 2 transmits an input terrestrial digital television broadcast signal having a prescribed frequency to the retransmission-side device 4 via a coaxial cable 6. In the retransmission-side device 4, a first and a second frequency converter 12, 18 and a first and a second local oscillator 14, 20 frequency-convert the input terrestrial digital television broadcast signal into an output terrestrial digital television broadcast signal having a frequency different from the prescribed frequency, so as to output it. To the first and second local oscillators 14, 20, a reference signal oscillated by a rubidium oscillator 24 provided in the reception-side device 2 is transmitted via the coaxial cable 6.
