<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ceramic siding material and a ceramic external corner material which allows for easy identification of genuine products after construction. <P>SOLUTION: A ceramic siding material B contains cement as a main component. An engraved mark 2 is formed on the surface of a base material 1 by laser. The surface of the base material 1 including the mark 2 is paint-finished such that the mark 2 can be identified. An external corner material A comprises a ceramic siding material containing cement as a main component. The base material 1 of the external corner material A is formed from two flat materials 5 and 5 with ends each having a predetermined angle butted to each other. An apex 3 of the external corner is chamfered to form an approximately flat surface. The engraved mark 2 is formed on the apex 3 of the external corner by laser.
