<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a wire electrode to be inserted by finely vertically moving the wire electrode without supplying jet. <P>SOLUTION: An automatic wire connecting device 1 has a delivering roller 10 arranged above a lower hole 4 and a vertical movement device 30 arranged between the delivering roller 10 and the lower hole 4. The vertical movement device 30 finely vertically moves the wire electrode 2 by supplying compressed air with predetermined pressure downward and upward along a traveling route. The vertical movement device 30 has a first wire guide 31 and a second wire guide 32 and repeats such an action as to finely move the wire electrode 2 downward by compressed air supplied to a closed space 30B from a first compressed air supply path 33 and finely move the wire electrode 2 upward by compressed air supplied to a closed space 30C from a second compressed air supply path 34. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
