<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical cable having a sheath structure in which, even when an outer sheath is not brought into close contact with an inner sheath which is coated on the circumference of an assembly core accommodating multiple optical fibers, sheath peel-off processing can be executed in an easy and safe manner. <P>SOLUTION: An optical cable 11 (11') is formed such that an inner sheath 18 and an outer sheath 14 are coated on the circumference of an assembly core 12 accommodating multiple optical fibers.
