PURPOSE: An electrostatic touch detection unit, a detection method, a touch screen panel, and a display device having the same are provided to prevent mis-recognition of a signal by obtaining a touch signal based on voltage variation by touch electrostatic capacity. CONSTITUTION: A sensor pattern(10) forms touch capacitance between touch input tools. An auxiliary capacitor is connected to the sensor pattern and receives a driving voltage for detection of a touch signal. A charging unit supplies a pre-charge signal to sensor pattern. A touch sensor(14a) is connected to the sensor pattern and detects the touch signal.
