<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic musical instrument providing natural sounding without increasing a memory capacity. <P>SOLUTION: A control unit 10, in waveform data to a tune C4 and waveform data to a tune G4, converts the pitches of both the waveform data items into waveform data of tune F4. When a key depressing operation is performed to give a sounding start command signal for starting the sounding of a musical tone in the tune F4, the electronic musical instrument, in response to the application of the sounding start command signal, alternately reproduces the waveform data to the tune C4 and the waveform data to the tune G4 at the converted pitch, so that, even if keys are repeatedly played, the instrument provides natural sounding without any discomfort. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
