<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform excellent paper alignment with reference to an engagement part formed on paper after image formation as post processing. <P>SOLUTION: This paper aligning device for receiving discharged paper P formed with an engagement part as post processing after image formation and aligning the paper P with reference to the engagement part includes: a paper discharge pedestal 11 arranged at a discharge position of the paper P and having a mounting surface 11b for mounting the paper P thereon; a paper alignment mechanism 14 arranged on the paper discharge pedestal 11 and including an alignment pin 14a capable of adjustment of a reception angle in accordance with the discharge position of the paper P and vibration provision by a vibration frequency necessary for paper alignment to engage with the engagement part of the paper P projecting to the mounting surface 11b side and discharged; and a control part for controlling the reception angle and the vibration frequency of the alignment pin 14a in accordance with paper information for identifying the discharged paper P. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
