<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of detectors related to products as far as possible, in a product conveying apparatus for conveying the product by using a fan. <P>SOLUTION: The product conveying apparatus is a transfer device 1 which conveys a glass substrate in a non-contact manner. The transfer device 1 includes: a case 22; the fan 24; a blow-off port 28; a current value measuring section; and a fan control section 30. The case 22 includes a product facing part 42 that faces the glass substrate. The fan 24 is provided in a fan case 54. The blow-off part is provided to the product facing part 42 so as to make air flow between it and the fan 24. The current value measuring section detects the load of the fan 24.
