<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine that encourages a player's freewheeling thinking so that the player himself/herself can found out amusingness. <P>SOLUTION: In a three-dimensional image display, an image, in which a "left image" as a left-eye image, serving as an image for an observer's (player's) left eye, and a "right image" as a right-eye image, serving as an image for the observer's (player's) right eye, are rendered in a display area of an upside stereoscopic display device 3010, can be observed as a stereoscopic image. In a two-dimensional image display, an image, in which one image is rendered by controlling the rendering of an ordinary image without discriminating between the "right image" and the "left image", can be observed as a planar image. The three-dimensional image display and the two-dimensional image display are switched by controlling a switch liquid crystal of the upside stereoscopic display device 3010.
