The invention relates to a system for analysing at least one characteristic of the skin (1) and, by extension, of the hair, using optical means (7, 4) and image processing means (4, 5) including in particular a consumer electronic appliance (4). The invention also relates to a method for analysing at least one characteristic of the skin, including in particular a step consisting in acquiring at least one digital image using a consumer electronic appliance. The invention further relates to the use of the method in order to provide cosmetic products, active substances for the preparation of a cosmetic product or skin care products adapted to the skin of which at least one characteristic has been analysed, and to the use of the method for skin cancer screening. |
