APPARATUS, PROGRAM, AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING COLOR TONE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device that controls a color tone of printed matter by generating control information to control ink key opening without printing control strip.

SOLUTION: (A) A difference ink key opening which is a difference between the ink key opening when printing under a reference printing condition and the ink key opening when printing under the printing condition different from the reference printing condition and (B) a difference RGB value which is a difference between the RGB value obtained from a photographed image of printed matter printed under a reference printing condition and the RGB value obtained from a photographed image of printed matter printed under a non-reference printing condition are associated and defined in a table. The difference RGB value is calculated from the RGB value obtained from the reference image and the RGB value obtained from the photographed image of the printed matter printed, and the difference RGB value is selected by comparing the calculated difference RGB value and the difference RGB values defined in the table, and the control information is generated based on the associated and defined difference ink key opening.
