摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact light source device capable of efficiently converging and synthesizing light from many solid light sources to achieve brightness. <P>SOLUTION: The light source device includes first and second solid light source units 1 and 2 including a plurality of solid light sources 3 and 4 and arranged to face each other, a reflection unit 13 for reflecting light flux emitted from the solid light sources, first conversion units 14 and 15 for converging the reflected light flux, and a fluorescent light emitting plate 19 excited by the converged light flux. The solid light sources of the first and second solid light source units are two-dimensionally arranged with an optical axis set in an x axis direction within a yz plane of an orthogonal coordinate system including x, y and z axes, and each row of the solid light sources of the first solid light source unit and each row of the solid light sources of the second light source unit are alternately arranged. The reflection unit is disposed to reflect the light flux emitted from each of the solid light source units in the z axis direction, aligns reflected light flux groups in a two-dimensional array within an xy plane, and sets the density of the reflected light flux group in the x axis direction higher than that in the z axis direction of the solid light source. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
