<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a burner for synthesis of a glass perform, and a method for manufacturing a glass perform, which promote the reaction of a glass raw material in flame, and are excellent in productivity. <P>SOLUTION: The burner for synthesis of a glass perform is so configured that a plurality of double-pipe nozzles each composed of a first nozzle to supply glass raw material compounds and a combustible gas and a second nozzle to supply a noncombustible gas arranged concentrically on the outside circumference of the first nozzle are sheaved and arranged; a third nozzle to supply a combustion supporting gas is arranged surrounding these double-pipe nozzles; and a plurality of nozzles having different pipe diameters are arranged concentrically on the outside circumference of the third nozzle. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
