<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sludge scraper capable of decreasing frequency of chain tension adjusting work without requiring a device giving tension to a chain, in which a sludge scraping body constituted of the chain and a flight is made to float in treated water. <P>SOLUTION: The flight 7 scraping sludge accumulated on a bottom surface Q of a sludge sedimentation basin P is attached to the chain 6 arranged so as to be wound around endlessly in the sludge sedimentation basin P and made to go around, thereby structuring the sludge scraping body 8. The sludge scraping body 8 is made to float in the treated water W in the sludge sedimentation basin P.
