<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly switch ON/OFF of a manner mode based on a current location of a mobile phone 10. <P>SOLUTION: A mobile phone 10 includes a RAM 34, a GPS circuit 36, a wireless LAN control circuit 40 and the like. Data showing a manner mode area (MA) to set the manner mode is stored in the RAM 34. When, for example, it is determined that a current location is within the manner mode area (MA) based on a GPS signal from a GPS satellite 200, the mobile phone 10 is set to be the manner mode.
