<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for horizontally installing drain materials to weak ground, by which method the drain materials can be buried in a direction in which the drain materials are hard to deflect, and a device for horizontally installing the drain materials. <P>SOLUTION: In a method for horizontally installing drain materials to weak ground, a work barge 11 is moved in a state that a guide member 12 is inserted into weak ground 10, and the drain materials 2 are buried while turning the lengthwise direction of the drain materials 2 in a horizontal direction by delivering one or plural drain materials 2, 2... from a rear side in the work barge progressing direction of the guide member 12. The drain material 2 configured such that its cross section has a length in the width direction larger than that in the thickness direction is delivered from the guide member 12, its width direction being turned in the vertical direction of the ground, while the drain material 2 is bent and/or twisted and its lengthwise direction is turned in a horizontal direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
