<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for conveying food and drink in which the top surface of a conveyor can be cleaned thoroughly. <P>SOLUTION: A traveling body 23 includes: a cover body 25 on the top surface of which is formed with a placing part 25f on which food and drink 10 is placed; and a base 24 on which the cover body 25 is mounted, and which is arranged on a traveling lane 12. The cover body 15 or the base 24 is formed with a recess 25a which opens outwardly and into which a part of the other is inserted.
