<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting line processing device for sheet glass which can process stable cutting lines on a surface of a piece of sheet glass, and a cutting line processing method thereof. <P>SOLUTION: The cutting line processing device 70 processes a desired cutting line 46 on the front surface of a sheet glass piece 74 by fixing the rear surface of the sheet glass piece 74 whose thickness is ≤0.7 mm on an immovable sheet material 72, pressing a cutting tool 44 against the front surface of the fixed sheet glass piece 74, and running the cutting tool 44. The sheet material 72 is an elastic body comprising a soft elastic material, and the hardness is preferably set to 50-90°.
