<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigeration unit capable of precisely determining whether the amount of a coolant filled into a coolant circuit is appropriate or not. <P>SOLUTION: The refrigeration unit includes a coolant amount determination means 20 which determines at least one of the appropriateness of the amount of coolant filled into the coolant circuit and the presence or absence of coolant leakage on the basis of the temperature efficiency ε of a supercooling heat exchanger 5 which is a value obtained by dividing the degree of the supercooling of the coolant at the outlet of the supercooling heat exchanger 5 by the maximum temperature difference of the supercooling heat exchanger 5. When the temperature efficiency ε of the supercooling heat exchanger 5 is a preset determination threshold ε line or higher, the coolant amount determination means 20 determines the total addition filling amount as the deficiency of the coolant for the preset reference amount of the coolant according to the internal density of coolant and inner volume of each of a condenser 3, a liquid extension pipe 10, a gas extension pipe 11 and an evaporator 7. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
