<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device and an image forming method capable of satisfactorily forming an image even when an image carrier belt is expanded or contracted. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming device comprises a latent image carrier 10, an exposure part 12, a developing part 30 for developing with a liquid developer, an image carrier belt 40 for transferring an image developed on the latent image carrier, a first detection part 91 for detecting a predetermined position of the image carrier belt 40, a transfer roller 61 for transferring an image carried on the image carrier belt 40 to a transfer material, a second detection part 92 for detecting a predetermined position of the image carrier belt 40 wound up on a second roller 43 and a control part 100 for controlling exposure parts 12Y, 12M, 12C and 12K based on information of a movement time until the predetermined position of the image carrier belt 40 is detected by the second detection part 92 since the predetermined position is detected by the first detection part 91. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
