<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transport a fluid with a high specific gravity and viscosity, which is stored in one desired tank, to the other tank with a quick and precise flow rate. <P>SOLUTION: The fluid transporting apparatus includes: a first and second tanks 13 and 14 storing a fluid 12 containing a fine powder; a connecting pipe 15 interconnecting the first and second tanks 13 and 14; and a transporting unit 16 for transporting the fluid 12 stored in the one desired tank to the other tank. Each tank 13 or 14 has a first and second chamber 19 and 20 partitioned by a deformable partition wall 18, while storing an incompressible fluid 17 in each first chamber 19, and the fluid 12 having the higher specific gravity and viscosity than the incompressible fluid 17 in each second chamber 20. These two second chambers 20 are interconnected by the connecting pipe 15. When the incompressible fluid 17 is supplied to the desired first chamber 19, the transporting unit 16 can discharge the incompressible fluid 17 from the other first chamber 19. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
