<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a molding with prescribed strength by suppressing fracture of reinforced fibers contained in a fiber-reinforced thermoplastic resin injected and filled in a cavity of a mold and improving dispersibility. <P>SOLUTION: The injection molding machine 1 for injecting the fiber-reinforced thermoplastic resin made of thermoplastic resin and reinforced fibers into a cavity of a clamped mold from an injection nozzle 11 includes: a heating cylinder 10; and a screw 12 rotatably provided in the heating cylinder 10. The screw 12 includes: a compression portion 20 for melting and kneading the fiber-reinforced thermoplastic resin supplied from a supply port 16 while the fiber-reinforced thermoplastic resin is moved to the injection nozzle 11 side; and a measuring portion 22 for measuring the melted and kneaded fiber-reinforced thermoplastic resin conveyed from the compression portion 20.
