<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic clock of brief configuration by which the current date is exactly recognized even when week number information goes round while power of the clock is turned off. <P>SOLUTION: An electronic clock 1 includes: receiving means 20; nonvolatile storage means 31 for storing a division block number for dividing a round of week number information into two or more blocks, and an internal block number showing a block to which the current week to be recognized by an internal clock belongs; block number determination means 35 for determining a current block number showing a block in which a week of a receiving point of a satellite signal is included; block number changing means 36 for changing the internal block number; and date determination means 37 for determining the current date. The block number determination means 35 collates whether or not there is the one matching to the week number received by the receiving means 20 in any of week numbers associated with division block numbers corresponding to the internal block number to determine the internal block number or the division block number at the matched point as the current block number. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
