<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotation detection device, a terminal apparatus, and a program that enable accurate detection of a rotating operation even when applying to a terminal apparatus carried by a user. <P>SOLUTION: A rotation detection device is configured to: measure a cycle of walking corresponding to even-number of steps from an acceleration of a terminal apparatus carried by a user; temporally integrate an angular speed of the terminal apparatus with an interval of integration corresponding to the cycle of walking to thereby detect a difference between the present orientation representing an angle relative to a reference plane and an orientation at the time going back by a time equivalent to the cycle of walking and determine the rotation of the terminal apparatus based on the difference. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
