<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure the travel distance of a vehicle with higher accuracy than before. <P>SOLUTION: A center machine 14 that performs charging to vehicles entering/leaving a charging area receives position information that shows a position of a vehicle defined by latitude and longitude with a wide area communication machine 50 from a plurality of vehicles. Here, the position information of vehicles is, for example, generated on the basis of a GPS signal received from a GPS satellite. The position information may include tolerance, which means there is a case it does not show accurate positions of vehicles. In order to deal with that, the center machine 14 calculates a travel route and travel distance of vehicles corresponding to the received position information by averaging position information received by the wide area communication machine 50 using position information of other vehicles with a travel distance calculation part 54. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
