<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fan controller which controls operation of a plurality of fans so that the residual lifetime of fans is equalized even when the temperature of the fans changes. <P>SOLUTION: The fan controller comprises operation information acquisition means for acquiring the temperature of a fan measured by a temperature sensor and the operation time of the fan at each temperature, converted operation time calculation means for calculating a converted operation time by integrating the operation time multiplied by a weight for each temperature, and designation means for selecting a predetermined number of fans based on the converted operation time for each of a plurality of fans, determining the operation of the selected fan and stopping of other fans and then outputting the determination information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
