<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a visual inspection device for a fuel assembly capable of acquiring a normal image without using an electric image inversion device, focusing on both the fuel assembly and an insertion object without separating a distance between a subject and a camera, and performing efficiently visual appearance inspection. <P>SOLUTION: A visual inspection device for a fuel assembly images the subject by reflecting a beam from the subject by a reflecting mirror and then allowing the beam to enter a camera head. The visual inspection device has two reflecting mirrors as the reflecting mirrors, namely, the first reflecting mirror and the second reflecting mirror. The first reflecting mirror and the second reflecting mirror are arranged such that, when the beam from the subject is reflected by the first reflecting mirror, then reflected by the second reflecting mirror and then allowed to enter the camera head to thereby image the subject, a light path length is changed by positional change of the first reflecting mirror and the second reflecting mirror to adjust a focus range. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
